Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team and contribute to providing an unforgettable experience for our guests. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining outlets and providing an exceptional guest experience. You will supervise the food and beverage team, oversee daily operations, and maintain high standards of quality and service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff ensuring exceptional service standards are met
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar and other dining outlets within the hotel
  • Train, mentor and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest service

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a full-time Chef De Partie to join our fantastic team at Gretna Green Ltd and to welcome our valued customers providing them a menu of homemade, varied range of dishes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working with a team of passionate colleagues to cater for fine dining and banqueting facilities
  • Running a section in the kitchen and making sure due diligence procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Assist the sous chefs and head chef in making sure all sections in the kitchen are prepped and ready for service
  • Full training will be given but previous 4 star and 1 or 2 rosette cooking skills standards would be advantageous

Required Skills include:

  • Level 2/3 Food Safety Certification, COSSH, and IOSSH and Level 2 Health & Safety would be advantageous

Main Responsibilities

  • To greet and serve customers efficiently and politely in an engaging manner
  • To take customers’ orders and have a sound knowledge of the menu choices
  • To have sound knowledge of allergens and range of dietary requirements

Job Description:

To supervise the reception team members to ensure all company procedures, standards & brand values are being adhered to and delivered. To assist with the day-to-day operation of the reception desk as required and ensuring the highest levels of customer service are consistently being delivered to our guests, by ensuring reception staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.  The key aim of the reception staff is to retain and attract new customers and provide high levels of internal customer service, always promoting a positive perception of the company both internally and externally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To receive guests to the hotel by greeting them warmly and attend to their enquiries in a professional and courteous manner whether in person, telephone, or email
  • Inform customers of the services and up-to-date accommodation rates and promote special offers
  • Identifying customer service problems or issues before they arise and actions requests quickly.
  • Providing leadership which utilises the full potential of the team.

  • Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction, and safety
  • Report issues of maintenance and faulty appliances to the manager to ensure prompt repair
  • Ensure the front desk is always kept clear and tidy by storing documents appropriately

Specific role and individual skills

  • To have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Knowledgeable operator in hotel software systems, management software and Microsoft Office Suite, Experience of Rezlynx would be advantageous
  • Previous relevant hotel experience in a supervisory role is essential
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, as well as first class customer service skills.

Job Description:

To give first class customer service and provide a welcoming atmosphere in a clean, inspiring environment to shop in. The focus of the role is deliver the historic ceremony known as ‘Hand Fasting’ and Re-enactments for groups. You need to be confident, clearly spoken and have a warm friendly and engaging personality. A keen interest in Whisky and a passion for how it is made would be advantageous but full training will be given to perform Whiskey Tasting Experiences to our UK and International visitors.

This role would suit someone with a love of amateur dramatics, love of Scottish culture and local history. A natural affinity with customers is key, as a specialist, the ability to demonstrate products confidently and with passion is an excellent way to build customer relationships and maximize sales opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional first-class customer service to all customers and visitors
  • Understand the needs of customers and assist them in finding the products they are looking for
  • Share the History of Gretna Green with our customers & visitors and promote the different areas of the business including Hotels
  • Process cash and card payments
  • Arrange products on the shelves and on promotional displays
