Terms and Conditions
By entering the "Win a Winter Wedding at Gretna Green" competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The competition is organized by Gretna Green Ltd. and the prize is a Winter Runaways for 2 Wedding Package at Gretna Green.
1. Eligibility
- This competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
2. Competition Period
- The competition starts on Tuesday, 25th June 2024 and ends at midnight on Tuesday, 23rd July 2024. Entries received after this time will not be considered. The winner will be selected at random and notified via email on Wednesday, 24th July 2024

4. Prize
The prize is a Winter Runaways for 2 Wedding Package at Gretna Green, worth £920.00, exclusively for December 2024, excluding New Year's Eve.
The package includes:
- 1-night stay in a Double Room at the hotel of your choice.
- Ceremony at your chosen venue with witnesses provided.
- Photography package with 14 (8" x 6") photos in an album.
- Free entry to the Famous Blacksmiths Shop Gretna Green Experience.
- Full Scottish breakfast every morning.
- Glass of fizz with your meal.
- Bronze Wedding Meal included.
The prize does not include additional guests, travel expenses, or any other costs not specified in the prize description.
5. Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date.
- The draw will take place on Wednesday, 24th July 2024.
- The winner will be notified via an email from [email protected].
- If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of the notification email, they will forfeit the prize, and a new winner will be drawn.
6. Additional Guests
- The package includes the wedding couple only. Additional guests can be added at an extra cost, which must be arranged and paid for by the winner directly with Gretna Green.
7. Prize Conditions
- The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- The winner must book their wedding date within December 2024, excluding Christmas Day & New Year's Eve.
- Preferred wedding date is subject to availability.
8. Publicity
- The winner agrees to participate in any publicity related to the competition, including being featured in promotional materials for Gretna Green.
- Only the first name of the winner will be announced.
9. Data Protection
- Personal data provided by entrants will be used only for the purposes of administering the competition and will be processed in accordance with Gretna Green Ltd.’s Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Gretna Green Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
Gretna Green Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at any time.
